The vocals on show here are exemplary (are they ever bad on gospel albums?) from the New Birth Total Praise Choir opening by belting out "He Set Me Free" until the close seven tracks later when Darlene McCoy presents the listener with the fresh pop R&B sounding "Fallen In Love". This particular cut wouldn't sound out of place in the mainstream market with a groove akin to that of Stacie Orrico. Elsewhere, Kierra 'Kiki' Sheard's ballad "Praise Offering" contrasts Shirley Murdock's upbeat "Somebody" providing a healthy balance between the tracks. One down side, with being a compilation no lyrics are included. So keep the ears peeled.
